We work with schools in the DSPL 1 area of North Herts, supporting SENCos, teachers and teaching assistants from mainstream primary and secondary schools, We provide support and advice to identify and develop strategies and resources for children with learning difficulties including autism and speech, language & communication needs.
We offer support with appropriate differentiation of learning activities & resources to ensure that children are included in the mainstream classroom.
We are able to support in the transition of a pupil from his or her primary school to secondary school.
We welcome teachers and teaching assistants to Woolgrove School to observe teaching approaches and the use of resources and strategies for children with a wide range of SEND at our school. *

IN PRINT (CIP3)
Communicate in Print symbols software is used throughout Woolgrove School to support teaching and learning.
Woolgrove Outreach is a “Widget hub”, which means we sell the programme on behalf of Widget.com and are able to offer CIP3 at a discounted rate. We also offer regular training in its use.
We regularly offer virtual advice sessions for SENCos, teachers and teaching assistants. No referral is needed to attend a session,as this is carried out on an un-named pupil basis. Please contact
