This bespoke and inspiring parenting masterclass session is delivered by Sharon Lawton, an award winning parent coach and Gaynor Dawson, an award winning therapeutic coach. It will develop your confidence in understanding anxiety and discusses how to explain the process to children, reduce a child's stress levels and help children recognise their body's early warning signs whilst developing safe ways to deal with their
anxiety. You will also get the opportunity to practise strategies to help children manage anxiety and develop good emotional wellbeing.

SPACE is a support group for Parents/Carers of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions.
We meet up once a month (term time only) at each of these locations across Hertfordshire: Buntingford, Cheshunt, Hatfield, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Ware, Welwyn, St Albans and Stevenage.

Supporting Parents of Children with Autism/ADHD and related conditions
We are a support group for Parent/Carers of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions.
We meet up six times a month in term time. Our meetings are held in, Buntingford, Cheshunt, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Ware and Welwyn.
Come along to meet other parents/carers with children with ASD/ADHD.
We have regular professional speakers, workshops, social events plus a library of books to borrow.
We are supported by many professionals working within the field of Autism and ADHD (& Related Conditions) and we are included in Hertfordshire Local Offer.

Families in Focus CIC is offering the parents/carers of teens with additional needs limited free places
This course is facilitated by 2 qualified and experienced trainers with a wealth of personal & professional experience, one of whom is parenting an adult with Autism. Topics include
Exploring the challenges and impact of parenting teenagers with additional needs on families
Understanding the effects of brain development and hormones/puberty on teenagers with SEND
Offers emotional support for parents during their teenagers transition from childhood to adulthood
Learn tried and tested communication skills to manage challenging behaviours
Understand the processes involved so your teenager with additional needs can learn independent living skills and plan ahead successfully

Families inFocus CIC has free places for parents
This popular, award winning parenting course is facilitated by Francine & Lesley who are experienced and qualified trainers, one of whom has a son with Autism and challenging behaviour. Ten sessions of two hours sharing tried and tested techniques and strategies to parent children with a range of additional needs and/or disabilities effectively in the 21st Century.
"We learned so much on this course from managing behaviour to coping with stress and even how to support our child in becoming more independent! Learning one of the facilitators has a son with Autism made such a difference.
